Hanna Scott

Tofino, Vancouver Island

Growing up in and around the ocean in Victoria, BC, Hanna tried surfing for the first time at age 10 on a family trip to Hawaii. After that initial taste she surfed as much as possible in the South Island waves and eventually moved to Tofino in 2010. Hanna is very grateful for the support in surfing she has always felt in Tofino, which has helped her to win 3 shortboard QOP championships and 1 longboard QOP championship as well as many podium finishes in both the Rip Curl Pro and Queen of the Peak. Hanna loves to explore the world for waves and is very inspired by the languages, friendships, music, food, places, and cultures she finds along the way. Her all time favourite record is, “A Charlie Brown Christmas” by the Vince Guaraldi Trio.
