I was taught how to surf when I was 10 years old. When I was gifted a short board, at age 12, I started actually surfing. I surfed my first contest a couple months after I started short boarding. By the time I was 14, I started doing contests nearly every weekend. I decided I want to become a professional surfer. I won my first High School Women’s State Title my freshman year of high school at age 15. The next year I won my second State Title. When I was 16 I started competing on the WQS and Pro Juniors. My first full season in the Pro Juniors I finished 5th overall. In 2018, I decided to stay home and finish high school. June 7, 2018 I graduated high school with academic distinction and I am currently attending Saddleback college. Before I joined the Canadian surf team in 2017 I was a part of the USA surf team. I am blessed to have the opportunity to surf for the country that my mom is from and that I am a citizen of. I am also proud of winning my first two national titles in Canada.
