Canadian Surfers Make Their Mark at the 2025 Rip Curl GromSearch National Final
Canada made its presence known at the 2025 Rip Curl GromSearch National Final, held at Atlantic Park in Virginia Beach, VA.
The Rip Curl GromSearch Series brought together the top emerging surf talent from across North America, with Canada opening the series at Stop #1 in Tofino, British Columbia (May 9–11). This year’s event showcased the depth of young Canadian surfing talent and highlighted the continued growth of competitive surfing in the country.

- Girls U16 – Ocea Green – 1st Place
- Boys U16 – Tanner Sandvig – 2nd Place
- Girls U14 – Teagan Sandvig – 6th Place
- Girls U14 – Shiloh Page – 12th Place
- Boys U14 – Dusty Bruhwiler – 10th Place
A special congratulations goes out to Ocea Green, who claimed 1st place in the U16 Girls Division, securing her spot among North America’s rising surf stars.
