Live To Surf Makes Significant Donation To Junior Team

VICTORIA, BC – Surf Canada is extremely excited to share news of Live To Surf’s recent donation to the Surf Canada Junior Team in the amount of $4500. The donation will go towards expenses associated with the team’s upcoming trip to the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship in Japan later this month.
Live To Surf, “The Original Tofino Surf Shop” has been serving the Canadian surf community since 1984.
“We are excited for the Canadian Junior Surf team and the incredible talent that has evolved over the years here in Canada and especially here in Tofino,” Live To Surf stated. “Over the past four decades, it has been such a joy to be part of a multi-generation of surfers.”
The 2017 VISSLA ISA World Junior Surfing Championship takes place Sept. 23 – Oct. 1 in Hyuga, Japan and will feature the sport’s most promising young talent from around the globe.
“Getting to see all stages of life enjoy the ocean together and share experiences in the waves is a great feeling,” Live To Surf added. “Now, seeing such talented young surfers carry the torch at an international level makes us so proud.”
