Rising Canadian Surfers Shine at the 2026 Rip Curl GromSearch in Tofino, BC
The 2026 Rip Curl GromSearch on May 8th, 2026 Tofino brought together Canada’s top young surfers for a day of exciting competition on the waves of Tofino, British Columbia.
As one of the premier junior surfing events in Canada, the Rip Curl GromSearch provides young athletes with the opportunity to compete against the country’s best up-and-coming surfers while earning their place on the next stage of competition.
The winners of each division will now have the opportunity to represent Canada at the Rip Curl GromSearch North American Final, where they will compete against top junior surfers from across North America for a chance to advance further in the international GromSearch pathway.
