2026 VI Longboard Surf Contest as Official Surf Canada National Longboard Championships
Surf Canada is pleased to announce that the 2026 Vancouver Island Longboard Surf Contest, scheduled to take place June 11–14, 2026, has been officially designated as a qualifying event for the Surf Canada National Longboard Teams (Men and Women).
The Vancouver Island Longboard Surf Contest will bring together competitors from across the country to compete in a high-performance environment that reflects Surf Canada’s commitment to athlete development and competitive excellence.
Event Dates: June 11–14, 2026
Location: Wickaninnish Beach, Ucluelet, British Columbia

Registration Opens: May 1, 2026
Registration Closes: May 30, 2026
