Team Canada Announced for the 2025 ISA SUP and Paddleboard World Championships in El Salvador
Surf Canada is proud to announce the eleven athletes who will represent Canada at the 2025 ISA SUP and Paddleboard World Championships taking place from November 10 to 15, 2025, in El Sunzal, El Salvador. This international event is the highest level of competition in SUP Surf, SUP Tech, SUP Sprint, SUP Distance, and Prone disciplines, offering athletes the opportunity to compete on the world stage and contribute to the legacy of Canadian paddlesports. The 2025 Canadian team features a strong and diverse lineup of athletes across multiple divisions. Representing Canada in SUP Surf are Lise Richard, Jake Collard, and Jesse Cohen. Competing in SUP Tech and SUP Sprint is Caroline Cook. Natalie Esser will race in SUP Tech and SUP Distance. Melia Miller will compete in both SUP Distance and SUP Jr. Madi LeBlanc will represent Canada in SUP Tech. Cameron Carney will compete across several divisions including SUP Tech, SUP Distance, SUP Sprint, and SUP Jr. Representing Canada in Prone Tech and Prone Distance are Jojo Davidson and David Jianu. Gander Twastsstjerna will compete in SUP Distance.
Team Canada heads into this world championship with momentum and determination. These athletes have put in an incredible amount of time and training and we look forward to watching them compete and represent Canada with pride in El Salvador.
